Approximately 600 local high school students to visit Ivy Tech Fort Wayne for Manufacturing Day on Friday

Approximately 600 high school students and 50 employers will participate in Ivy Tech Fort Wayne’s Manufacturing Day event on Friday, Oct. 4. The students will tour The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center, enjoy hands-on demonstrations featuring College programs and visit a career fair with information from local manufacturers and construction technology employers. This event will help educate attendees about high-skill, high wage career opportunities in northeast Indiana.
For this year’s Manufacturing Day event, Ivy Tech is collaborating with Made by Me, which is administered by Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Contact Joe McMichael at 260-480-4223 or for more information.
