INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College received three awards from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR). The 2013 Paragon awards were announced during the annual NCMPR conference, which took place March 19-21 in New Orleans. The awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges, and acknowledge institutions from across the nation.
Ivy Tech’s national awards from NCMPR include:
• Bronze for Poster Series- Ivy Tech – Bloomington
• Bronze for Successful Recruitment or Marketing Program- Ivy Tech – Bloomington
• Silver for Special Event Promotion Campaign- Ivy Tech – Bloomington
NCMPR is a professional organization for individuals involved in marketing, communications, public relations and enrollment management at community, junior and technical colleges. NCMPR provides professional development opportunities, advocates on behalf of the profession and the institutions it serves, and recognizes professional excellence. Ivy Tech has earned 98 regional awards from NCMPR over the last six years, in addition to 22 national awards for its successful branding and marketing campaigns, including best overall outdoor advertising campaign in 2008. Last year, Ivy Tech took home awards for Print Advertisement – Single Ad and also Feature Writing.
