Ivy Tech recognizes nearly 16,000 Dean’s List Students for Spring 2012 Semester

INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College has named nearly 16,000 students statewide to the Dean’s List for this past spring semester. The Dean’s List recognizes any degree-seeking student who has earned 12 or more credit hours during his/her studies at Ivy Tech, is enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours during the term, and earns a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

“Our students juggle not only school, but family and work responsibilities as well.  These are obligations that make it even more challenging to pursue academic excellence, but our students have risen to the challenge,” said Thomas J. Snyder, President of Ivy Tech Community College.  “We are extremely proud of the hard work these students have put forth as they pursue their education.”

The Dean’s List is published every term. The complete list of spring 2012 students who made the Dean’s List can be found online at www.ivytech.edu/deans-list.

Ivy Tech Community College is the state’s largest public postsecondary institution and the nation’s largest singly accredited statewide community college system serving nearly 200,000 students annually. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana.
