NORTHEAST – In culmination of the second installment of Disney Institute programs in Fort Wayne, officials from Ivy Tech Corporate College will deliver balloons to children at the Gingerbread House (1130 East Pontiac Street). Sept. 22 features a special 90-minute seminar on “Disney’s Approach to Inspiring Creativity” for Ivy Tech employees at Holiday Inn Fort Wayne. This follows the community professional development opportunity, “Disney’s Approach to People Management,” open to local business leaders Sept. 21.The programs are sponsored by Ivy Tech Corporate College with marketing partners Indiana’s NewsCenter, The Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and Gordon’s Food Service.
The Gingerbread House is a nonprofit organization that provides an early childhood education readiness program for children 12 months to 5 years old and serves as a before and after school facility for children 5 to 12 years old. The Gingerbread House currently serves an average of 75 children.
