INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College will host its first diversity leadership retreat to continue to engage representatives from its faculty and staff in activities related to increasing and fostering diversity in its students, staff and faculty.
The diversity retreat follows the establishment of the President’s Diversity Cabinet and regional diversity teams aimed to improve and enhance diversity at the College so Ivy Tech’s faculty and staff reflect the diversity of its students and the communities it serves.
The 2-day retreat, scheduled for July 28 and 29 in Indianapolis, will focus on diversity best practices, activities and awareness programs.
Ivy Tech Community College is the state’s largest public post-secondary institution and the nation’s largest singly-accredited statewide community college system with more than 200,000 students enrolled annually. Ivy Tech has campuses throughout Indiana.
