Ivy Tech Community College–Northeast Announces “Ivy Tech On the Road” Campaign with Outreach to the 9-County Northeast Indiana Area

NORTHEAST – Ivy Tech Community College announced today that its college administration, faculty, and staff will be hosting several community receptions this summer in the cities and counties Ivy Tech has a presence in right here in northeast Indiana—in such communities as Angola, Auburn, Bluffton, Columbia City, Huntington, and Kendallville.

“Ivy Tech On the Road” is a coordinated effort between college officials and the communities to reinforce and inform the citizens of northeast Indiana that affordable and quality education is closer to home than they even know. The receptions also allow the college and communities an opportunity to connect and strengthen relationships in hopes of developing future partnerships.

“Community campuses offer the highest quality of education and training at locations which are convenient for our students,” said Dana Barrett, community campus coordinator. “We want to make sure that everyone knows what options are available for affordable and convenient educational opportunities.”

Ivy Tech offers the most affordable tuition in Indiana, credits that transfer to four-year colleges, and the career, academic and workforce training programs that give students the skills they need to get the job they want.

In the next several weeks, Ivy Tech will be in the communities to meet with interested students, community individuals, and alumni who have questions or would like to meet college administration, including Chancellor Jerrilee K. Mosier, Ed.D. Refreshments will be provided by the college from a local business within each community.
