Ivy Tech-Columbus adding courses in Seymour

COLUMBUS – Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus is offering more courses than ever before in Seymour in order to accommodate demand.  Although the utilization of the Jackson County Learning Center is high, an effort has been made to fill every spot available in the building so that more classes could be added.  Twenty-one courses have been added to the 44 that were already available for the Fall Semester.

Registration is on-going for the fall semester, which begins on August 22.  Early registration is encouraged.  Specific days and times during which these courses will be offered may be found by accessing Ivy Tech’s new interactive class schedule at www.ivytech.edu/columbus and selecting the 2011 Electronic Fall Class Schedule.  A listing of classes in which a student is particularly interested may be downloaded for personal use in registering for classes.
