Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette Dental Assisting students to host Easter egg hunt and sidewalk carnival

LAFAYETTE- On April 23rd, 2011, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, the public is invited to attend an Easter egg hunt and sidewalk carnival hosted by Dental Assisting students at Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette. Funds raised at the event will go to the Judy Buckles Scholarship, an annual award given to a Dental Assisting student in honor of the late Judy Buckles.  Judy Buckles started the Dental Assisting program at Ivy Tech in 1973.

Families can look forward to a day of fun, including prizes, candy, food, drinks, carnival games, the Lafayette Fire Department, Lafayette Police Department D.A.R.E, education about the importance of good oral hygiene, and so much more.  Professional photos with the Easter Bunny will be taken from 10:00 am -1:00 pm for a fee of $3.00 each.

Easter egg hunt schedule is as follows:

Ages 1-4 at 10:00 am

Ages 5-8 at 11:00 am

Ages 9-12 at 12:00 pm 

All events will be held at Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette located at 3101 S. Creasy Lane.
