NORTHEAST – Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast is seeking submissions for the college library’s Fifth Annual Edible Book Festival that will take place Thursday, March 31, 2011, from Noon to 2 p.m. at the college’s Student Life Center on the North Campus (4900 St. Joe Road).
Every spring, bibliophiles, book artists, and food lovers across the world unite to create, display, then taste ‘edible books’-dishes based on a book or a pun of a book title.
Edible books will be on display for public viewing from Noon to 1 p.m., then consumed by attendees from 1 to 2 p.m.
Show off your creative cooking skills by making an edible book for the festival. To participate, complete the online registration form by Friday, March 4. Go to http://wwwcc.ivytech.edu/library/northeast/ and click on ‘Edible Book Festival’.
