NORTHEAST – Doug Winicker has been named Assistant Director of Facilities at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast, where he will oversee a variety of special projects involving campus planning. Prior to joining Ivy Tech, Winicker received several American Institute of Architect awards for his work in a similar position throughout his 32 years at Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. He was also the campus planner project designer at MSKTD & Associates in Fort Wayne for three years and has a degree in architecture from the School of Design, Architecture, and Planning from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design.
