INDIANAPOLIS – Ivy Tech Community College has won 11 national awards for its marketing efforts throughout Indiana.
The college won six awards from the National Council of Marketing and Public Relations Professionals (NCMPR). The awards were presented to the college this week at the organization’s national conference held in Albuquerque, NM. Ivy Tech won more NCMPR awards during the national conference than any other community college in the country.
Awards presented by NCMPR include a Silver for best Television Advertisement/PSA Series of any community college in the nation and a Silver for poster design by the Bloomington campus. In addition, the college won three Bronze awards for brochure/flyer design, annual report design and logo design for work done by the Bloomington campus. The Columbus campus also earned a Bronze award for their course catalog work.
In addition, Ivy Tech recently received five national marketing awards at the 25th Annual Educational Advertising Awards, including a Silver for the Ivy Tech Magazine and additional awards for radio spots, television advertisements and magazine advertisements.
The College has earned 53 regional awards from NCMPR over the last three years, in addition to 15 national awards for its successful branding and marketing campaigns, including best overall outdoor advertising campaign in 2008.
